Work ?

So I'm not sure what you do at your job when you are having a slow day....this is what we do---

Okay...we really do work and take care of babies...but at 3 am---you have to find something to keep yourself awake! HAHA :)

Lately I'm really struggling to feel like this....

I hate it. But I can't seem to snap out of it. I've tried everything---and I mean everything!! So I figure I haven't posted anything in a while...and this is pretty much why...there is nothing happy or exciting in my life to write about right now. I'm pretty boring and pretty pathetic. Hopefully one day (and hopefully soon) I'll have some happy thoughts..but for now-this is all I got.

We are so blessed to have had (and still have) amazing grandparents who left such an incredible legacy for us to follow. The last three and a half months have been some of the most trying and difficult of our lives, but we have still found some silver linings in the darkened clouds. Thank goodness for good friends and neighbors, the many prayers on our behalf and the tender mercies from the Lord. We are greatly blessed.

RANT

Its not the snow that the weather people are saying is dangerous...its the arctic air that is coming with it! That's why this storm is a bad one...geez..I'm so glad the general public is so much more smarter than the people that actually know what they are doing! Seriously!!! And if they wouldn't have warned you and you sat at home with your power out and nothing to eat it would have been their fault...so aren't you just slightly glad maybe they did over react a little so that you would be safe....isn't that what EMERGENCY PREPARDNESS is about!! Being prepared for the bad...even if it doesn't come!? UGH!

We will miss you Grandma. We love you! How lucky and blessed we are to know that it is not the end, just the end for now. And now we have another guardian angel to keep us in line. We have been forever changed by your love and support for all these years. And while our hearts are breaking that you were taken in such a tragic and unexpected way, we know you are still with us and we will be okay. Love you forever!
