Playing in May

May feels like it has just barely started and it already CRAZY busy!  I've been busy doing crafts for birthday gifts and bridal shower gifts, going to school, working, Holly and I are helping my friend Natalie out and watching her kids everyday while she's at work so that definately keeps us busy. Its just been a insane couple weeks, but I'm LOVING every minute. Life is good and I love it :)

Me and Reagan. I love this girl! She is so freaking adorable. She makes me want kids so bad!

Lol...I love my 'puppy' Koda! He's like adding a third child to our babysitting endeavors but how can you not love and smile at that mug.

We got the kids sidewalk chalk....I think Holly and I have had more fun with it than Ryker and Reagan...

Jammin' it up!

Last week...well...I needed to make some jam. Pretty much I wanted to do anything but do homework...so..boy did I make jam!

2 cases of strawberries...(a little too many I found out)

The final count....26 bottles of strawberry freezer jam! I think we'll be stocked up for a while!

(I finally got around to studying for my microbiology test...hours later of course..but I think the jam making payed off cause I got an A! haha)

eAsTeR!

Easter is so much fun. I love spring time and the feeling of starting a new year.  Even though its like 4 months into the new year...I think it really starts with spring time :)

This was my Easter craft!! I love it!

We started a new tradition this year. Egg rolling.  You roll your hardboiled, colored eggs at each other. Only 1 will break! I was the champion. My yellow egg named "The TrackerJacker" kicked everyone else's butts!! Lol.

While the girls colored eggs....the boys cut down trees. haha.

Today's adventure

So lately I have had some problems with feeling like this!

I feel dizzy like all the time....well almost. The only time I don't feel too bad is when I'm sitting straight up.  When I'm standing, walking, or laying down the room is spinning.  Its been getting worse over the last week and today was pretty bad. I felt like all I could do was sit in one spot so I wouldn't be a menace to the stairs or floor. 


So this is what I did...sat at the kitchen table all afternoon and got my craft goal started.

It turned out soooo good and I'm pretty much addicted now. :) 

But then to top of my day...I was cutting some bread for dinner and SLIP...

A lovely serrated bread knife about took my finger right off.  

At first I thought I needed stitches, but it wasn't as deep as I thought. I sure hope it heals fast I hate having a finger out of commission. 

So next week I'm getting my tonsills out, I have decided while I'm out of complete commission for a while, I will find another craft or two and work on those. Wish me luck!

I want to...

I really really really want to start doing something with the spare time I have (even if its almost non-existant). I feel silly thinking I want to do crafts, mostly because what am I going to decorate?! I freaking live at home still.  It would be nice to have my own house to make all cute to my taste, but I don't--yet. 

I have some buddies at work that do the wood craft thing and its something I really want to do...its bugging me so much I'm up at 4:30 am blogging about it. Ridiculous!

Anyway, I found some cute things I want to do, but I feel so inadequate. Where do I even start?  I'm seriously not even this creative, so mine won't turn out nearly as cute.



I've done crocheting...which I love...and want to do more of...

I made this baby blanket and I love it...but obviously can't use it considering I have no babies of my own :(

I am just in need of something different and cute and more instant results.
So anyway, if you have any good ideas how to help me get my craft on let me know!!
