Awake

So this song has almost perfectly described my feelings about a lot of different situations in the last little bit.  I'm constantly thinking them in my head.  I have decided I am very grateful for people that can actually write about things that I find hard to describe. This song, like I said applies to quite a few different things I have been experiencing so I thought I'd share it with the blog world.

Awake
Josh Groban

A beautiful and blinding morning
The world outside begins to breathe
See clouds arriving without warning
I need you here to shelter me
And I know that only time will tell us how
To carry on without each other
So keep me awake to memorize you
Give me more time to feel this way
We can't stay like this forever
But I can have you next to me today
If I could make these moments endless
If I could stop the winds of change
If we just keep our eyes wide open
Then everything would stay the same
And I know that only time will tell me how
We'll carry on without each other
So keep me awake for every moment
Give us more time to be this way
We can't stay like this forever
But I can have you next to me today
We'll let tomorrow wait, you're here, right now, with me
All my fears just fall away, when you are all I see
We can't stay like this forever
But I have you here today
And I will remember
Oh I will remember
Remember all the love we shared today

St. George Fun

A couple weekends ago Mom, Dad, Holly and I went to St. George.  We went to Tuacahn Theatre while we were there, did some shopping, and just relaxed.  It was so great!  (AND HOT--not a fan of 105 in the middle of the day-just sayin') I love my family and love vacations with them. Here's some pics from our adventure :)

Holly and Me in the backseat...we were like two little kids and I'm sure the parents were thinking we were crazy---but we kept dad awake on the drive :)

The first night we saw Disney's The Little Mermaid at Tuacahn! It was so so so amazing!! Seriously...I still am in awe of how good it was....

This was the dude that played King Triton. Wow! hee-hee

Mom and Dad at dinner before the show

Us with Sebastian..yes we were so silly getting pictures with the actors. Lol.

Dad joining us on our shopping trip the next morning...

At The Little Mermaid

Awww...cute parents.

So...we went swimming after we couldn't spend anymore money Saturday afternoon. Us three girls went to the pool while Dad went to buy me sunblock that I forgot..haha.  But when he finally got back, he brought me the sunblock, then went back up to our room to change and come join us, twenty minutes later he still wasn't down yet and we were wondering where the heck he was....then----he finally emerged and this is what took him so long....

We bought nail polish that changes colors in the sun so he decided he needed to try it out. Lol.

He tried 2 of the 4 colors we bought. But hey! It works! The left foot was silver then changed red in the light and the right foot was green and changed purple!!

We also saw Grease the next night at Tuacahn.  It was good....but still not as amazing as The Little Mermaid.

This is my favorite one!! ;)

We stopped the temple on our way home. One of the funnest vacations ever :)
