True Friendship

I recently read a talk by Elder Richard G. Scott and one part of the talk really jumped out at me. He said:

"Be surrounded by true friends who accept you the way you are and leave you better because of their association."

I like that a lot. I don't want to say much, but I do hope it gives you something to think about. Christ was the ultimate friend. He accepts each of us no matter what we've done, said, or thought. If we are willing to bring Him into our lives, then He will always make us better because we associate ourselves with Him. He will never leave us! That is such a comforting promise.
On our journey here on earth, we will probably have friends that come and go throughout our lives. I've found those that are "true friends" will always stand by us, accepting and willing to love no matter what and who will always leave us better because we have known them! I'm grateful to all you who are true friends, but most especially my friend and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Moving Day!

Well this last week has been totally crazy! But finally things seem to have calmed down! I moved to West Jordan on Saturday. I absolutely love it out here! It may be practically in Nevada, but its great! The best thing is that I moved into my cousin's area and we found out we are in the same stake! I'm soooo looking forward to going to a family ward again and am looking forward to getting to know the area and the people! LIFE IS GOOD!!! Its hard to contain my excitement! How grateful I am for my family and true friends. They are the best!

Club Hoppin'

So this weekend I had quite the experience!! Let me share (at least some) of our interesting night! This past weekend, we had a girls night with most of my friends from high school. While out, we decided to go to a club and go dancing. Well, to make a long and dramatic story not so long and dramatic, we had only been there for maybe 5 minutes when a fight broke out at the bar, which then just escalated into a snowball effect to where even more fighting was happening. We watched with all our hearts beating a million miles an hour while people came out bleeding and hurt. It was an interesting and slightly scary sight to see. So in the end because the club was on the top floor of a hotel, for only 5 minutes of dancing & $6, it took us maybe an extra 40 mintues to actually get out of the club! LOL! I know to many it might have been a scary and perhaps traumatizing event, but I have to admit it was quite hilarious in my mind. So I hope that you don't think I'm a club slut now, but I really had so much fun!!!! Thanks to all the girls that came. I quite enjoyed our weekend without the boys!!
