Today's adventure

So lately I have had some problems with feeling like this!

I feel dizzy like all the time....well almost. The only time I don't feel too bad is when I'm sitting straight up.  When I'm standing, walking, or laying down the room is spinning.  Its been getting worse over the last week and today was pretty bad. I felt like all I could do was sit in one spot so I wouldn't be a menace to the stairs or floor. 


So this is what I did...sat at the kitchen table all afternoon and got my craft goal started.

It turned out soooo good and I'm pretty much addicted now. :) 

But then to top of my day...I was cutting some bread for dinner and SLIP...

A lovely serrated bread knife about took my finger right off.  

At first I thought I needed stitches, but it wasn't as deep as I thought. I sure hope it heals fast I hate having a finger out of commission. 

So next week I'm getting my tonsills out, I have decided while I'm out of complete commission for a while, I will find another craft or two and work on those. Wish me luck!

I want to...

I really really really want to start doing something with the spare time I have (even if its almost non-existant). I feel silly thinking I want to do crafts, mostly because what am I going to decorate?! I freaking live at home still.  It would be nice to have my own house to make all cute to my taste, but I don't--yet. 

I have some buddies at work that do the wood craft thing and its something I really want to do...its bugging me so much I'm up at 4:30 am blogging about it. Ridiculous!

Anyway, I found some cute things I want to do, but I feel so inadequate. Where do I even start?  I'm seriously not even this creative, so mine won't turn out nearly as cute.



I've done crocheting...which I love...and want to do more of...

I made this baby blanket and I love it...but obviously can't use it considering I have no babies of my own :(

I am just in need of something different and cute and more instant results.
So anyway, if you have any good ideas how to help me get my craft on let me know!!

Just For Bobbi...

apparently i need to be better at blogging.....says my dearest and best friend Bobbi. So this post is just for her...;)

Things I just love....
1. Bobbi being ridiculous at work at 2 am.
2. Bobbi dishing out crap at me...but doesn't mind when I give it back
3. The fact that Bobbi let's me tell her all my sins and doesn't judge me
4. Eating ice cream at work
5. Blogging just for Bobbi
5. Watching people try to get off the floor but they can't cause they apparently don't know how to read the sign that says "push the white button to be let off the locked unit".
6. Calling in sick or taking a call off when I tell bobbi not to.

VEGAS!

Went to Vegas last weekend with two friends and my awesome sister! Here are just a few pics of our adventures :)

I just love my little sister! She is my best friend and I'm so glad she went with me!

The whole reason we went to Vegas was for the Katy Perry concert at Mandalay Bay.  We didn't take our camera into the concert...for which we are very much regretting cause it was such an amazing show! But this was our before the concert picture...getting ready to go out for the night :)

Deer Hunt 2011

This is a little late but we went to the deer hunt this year...well---correction...the BOYS went to the hunt...us girls only joined them for ONE short evening for a DUTCH OVEN dinner. We got to sleep in our nice,warm, soft beds, while the boys froze their little buns off in the cold!  The dinner was delicious! The boys cooked it for us and it really was fun to just get away for a little bit. But I was very thankful to come home to my bed after being fed by Dad and Todd :)
